KFI Standards for D Class Fire Extinguisher
소화기의 형식승인 및 제품검사의 기술기준(2024.07.25 시행)
- Chemicals : NaCl,Copper,Graphite in Main
- Type : Powder or Granule
- Minimum Quantity : 30 Lbs
- Fulel for Test : Magnesium Alloy Chip( AZ91)
- Fuel Size : L10~25/W6~12/T0.3mm
- Test Capacity : 5 Lbs minimum
Test Procedure for Mg Chip
- Put the fuel 5 lbs into Steel Model(2ft*2ft) on the Board(3.3 ft*3.3ft)
2.After surface levelling, Remove steel model
3.Fire to fuel, wait untill 50 % firing of fuel.
4.Operate fire extinguisher at 50 % firing of fuel
5.Stay 60 min and check re-fire in 10 min. Minimum 10 % of fuel should be remain after suppression.
